At Stony Brook Medicine, we are committed to helping kids learn healthier eating and #cooking habits at an early age. Recently, kids from ages 7-10 participated in our annual, three-day workshop series, teaching them how to #MealPrep and pick fresh farm-grown produce from the rooftop garden. I had a wonderful time attending and speaking at the Third Annual Dancing On the Dock Gala at Claudio’s Waterfront & Wharf recently, hosted by the Eastern Long Island Hospital Foundation. I was thrilled to have an opportunity to share our ongoing efforts to recruit new physicians to the North Fork and Shelter Island and share our dedication to expanding access to stroke care.Thank you to all who made this wonderful summer night possible and for all you do on the East End. Both the community and donors play a vital role in the success of Stony Brook Eastern Long Island Hospital. We appreciate your support! #WeAreStonyBrookMedicine
